The Excel add-in reads only the selected rectangular range when you click the button, and writes only to a newly created sheet when requested. Office.js is loaded from Microsoft only in add-in mode. Cloudflare hosting adds performance and security telemetry, and Microsoft receives Office.js connection metadata. The workbench itself sends no entered table data to either service.
